What it can look like

  • On paper things are fine, but you feel flat, restless, or disconnected
  • Stress shows up in your body or your temper before you can put words to it
  • It’s hard to say what you’re feeling, let alone to someone else
  • Relationships feel distant, or the same conversations keep going in circles
  • A breakup, a new baby, a career change, or a loss has left you unsure who you are now
  • You’ve never done therapy and aren’t sure it’s for you

How I work

I’m an integrative therapist, so I don’t hand everyone the same script. I’m direct, I skip the jargon, and I’m not here to fix you or to talk you into feelings you don’t have. I pay close attention to what happens underneath what’s being said in session: shifts in your body, your energy, your tone. Those often tell us more than the story does, and they’re usually where change starts.

Some of our work will be practical, and some will be about slowing down enough to notice what’s actually going on. Both matter.

Common questions

I’ve never done therapy. Is it for me?

Many of the men I see are starting for the first time. You don’t need to know what to say; we’ll figure it out as we go.

Do I need to be in crisis to start?

No. Plenty of people come in because things feel stuck or heavy, not because something has broken.

What does it cost?

My rate is $200 per 55-minute session, held once weekly on a designated day and time slot. Generally I don’t accept insurance but can provide you with a superbill for potential reimbursement from your insurance company.
